Exposed brick is one of the most popular trends in interior design. But hanging pictures on it? This can be quite the challenge.
Drilling into brick risks cracks, which are difficult and costly to repair. If only there was a easier, less damaging way to hang pictures on brick walls... Well, there is!
FIX-PRO® Mounting Tape is the easiest way to hang pictures, heavy mirrors and bathroom accessories without nails or screws.
How to hang pictures on brick walls without nails or drilling
WEIGH THE FRAME
Start by weighing your picture frame. For this job, we'd recommend using FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape, which can hold up to 1.55 pounds per square inch. Pre-planning is important to make sure you use enough tape to hold the whole weight of the frame.
TAKE A PACK OF FIX-PRO® EXTREME MOUNTING TAPE
Next, measure your strips of mounting tape and cut them to size. We'd recommend sticking a strip of tape along each length of the frame to make sure it's held extra securely in place.
STICK THE MOUNTING TAPE TO THE FRAME
Next, stick the mounting tape to your frame and remove the backing plastic. Press it down firmly to make sure it's stuck smoothly and firmly to the back of the frame.
PRESS THE FRAME FIRMLY AGAINST THE WALL
Now to mount your picture frame onto your brick wall. Use a spirit level and small piece of masking tape to mark where you want to place your frame. Then press it firmly against the wall and step back to admire your handiwork!
And that's it! We told you it was easy to hang pictures on brick withoout one single nail or screw! Check out the full range of FIX-PRO® Mounting Tape below or stay on our blog for more picture hanging tips!
