How to Hang a Bathroom Mirror Without Nails, Screws or Drilling

How to Put Up a Bathroom Mirror - Step by Step

We've already shown you how to mount bathroom accessories onto tiles without drilling but today we're going to focus on bathroom mirrors. 

We're going to use FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape and whether you're hanging your bathroom mirror on a tiled wall, drywall or a bathroom door, the process is the same. 

1. Make sure the wall is clean and dry

First things first, make sure that the wall you're planning to hang your mirror on is clean and dry. FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape works most effectively when the surface is clear of dust and dirt.

2. Take a pack of FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape

Next, take a roll of mounting tape and cut it to size. To fix a mirror securely on the wall, you'll need to stick a long strip of tape along each edge of the mirror.

And remember, this tape can hold up to 1.55 pounds per square inch so if necessary, calculate how much you need.

3. Stick the mounting tape to the mirror

Now to stick the mounting tape to the mirror. Press it down firmly and make sure there are no air bubbles.

4. Press the mirror firmly against the wall

Then all that's left is to remove the backing plastic and press the mirror firmly against the wall. It's a good idea to use a spirit level at this stage to make sure your mirror is straight!

How high to hang a bathroom mirror? 

As a general rule, we'd recommend hanging your bathroom mirror 5 to 10 inches above the sink. Bear in mind the height of the person using it and hang your mirror higher/lower for taller/shorter people.
