How to hang pictures without damaging the walls
Step 1
Start by cleaning the surface of the wall. HANGables® Picture Hanging Strips will work best if the wall is clean before you stick anything to it so wipe it with a damp (but not sopping wet) cloth and leave to dry for a couple of minutes before you do anything else.
Step 2
Next, attach one half of your picture hanging strips to the photo frame with the arrows pointing upwards. Press them down and leave them to dry for 30 seconds.
Note: If you're hanging a mirror or a heavy picture you'll need to use something stronger like FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape.
Step 3
Then take the other half of each set and stick it on. Peel away the clear plastic backing to expose the adhesive that will stick to the wall.
Step 4
Now to hang your picture on the wall. Put it in position and press the frame firmly against the wall.
When it’s stuck securely in place, slide the frame up and off, and rub and press firmly on the HANGables® Picture Hanging Strips that have remained on the wall. This will make sure they’re stuck securely in place.
Step 5
When your HANGables® Picture Hanging Strips are firmly in place, simply reattach your picture frame to the wall! And when you want to take the picture down, remove it by simply sliding it up and peeling it up off slowly.
