How to fit a letterbox on a brick wall

1. Wipe the surface

Start by wiping the back of the letterbox with a clean, damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt.

2. Cut strips of mounting tape

Next, cut strips of FIX-PRO® Outdoor Mounting Tape . For the strongest hold, we'd recommend sticking a strip of mounting tape along each edge of the letterbox.

3. Attach mounting tape to the back of the letterbox

Next, stick the mounting tape to the back of the letterbox and press it down firmly. We'd recommend waiting an hour or so for the adhesive to bond with the metal letterbox before you attach it to brick.

4. Remove red plastic backing tape

Next, remove the red plastic backing tape from your double-sided mounting tape to reveal the adhesive that will fix your letterbox to the brick wall.

5. Press firmly against the wall to secure

Last but not least, press the letterbox firmly against the wall to secure it in place. We'd recommend using a spirit level at this stage, just before you fix the letterbox in place, to make sure it's straight.

And that's it! Fitting a wall-mounted letterbox is quick, easy and secure with FIX-PRO® Mounting Tape . Stay on our blog for even more time-saving DIY tips!
