Excellent binding material. Tried everything on a polyethylene lawnmower roller, this is the only material that bound 2 halves together, out of 5 other glues tried. Unfortunately, another fault inside the roller could not be accessed with tape, although the outside held firm with the tape a fault developed.

I purchased these strips to secure a Ring doorbell to my front door as the door is re-inforced so cannot screw in to fit it and wanted it to be secure but easily removable when charging. This works a treat! the velcro is very strong, so easily holds the weight of the doorbell as well as being durable and weather resistant. It's early days yet but I expect it to hold firm for a long time.

Basically, my Rode microphone assembly broke and when I investigated I found out that this was a common problem. I thought about superglue and according to my research this had failed. The solutions ranged from drilling and putting pins in to wrapping with gaffer tape. None of these solutions really attracted me...
Then I cam across what, looked at first sight, to be some airhead American Wedding Videographer who had used Velcro patches and this made sense so I ordered some and fitted it very easily.
I think that the problem is not only solved but is a better solution so Thanks Velcro!
