The loops are too short and the hooks are too short too:he net effect being that there is not a soft enough loop cushion against the plant stem and there there is the possibility of damaging tomato stems. The quality is such that there seems to be little possibility
of reusing the ties.
My previous experience was with ones sold by Wilco which were far superior in every respect.

I found these velcro plant-ties in a discount shop the first time, and then was unable to ever find them again before I googled them and found them online. As a gardener with 40 years experience, I think they are the best things I have ever found for tying plants up. They are gentle, strong and versatile, wide enough and soft enough that they don't cut into plants, but can hold them firmly and closely. They are easy to use, as there's no need for twisting, or clipping weird end bits. And they can be cut to any size. I use them to tie plants to stakes, to tie back climbing plants and shrubs, and to reconnect peas and other climbing veg or flowers that have come away from their trellises. They can also be re-used and re-used, and last for years. I am so glad to have found them again

Bought one roll of this and we used it up so fast - it's brilliant at holding all the plants in the garden where you want and adjusting their support as and when necessary. Ordered another 3 rolls so we can control the rest of the garden - maybe you could make longer rolls?

Used the tape to tie up some pond plants, some of which are quite delicate. No problem.Easy to use.Would have taken photos but now plants are in situ I might fall in the pond! Will be using a lot in the garden. Obviously cannot say how long it will last as only just got it but it looks sturdy. Thank you

Brilliant asset for fixing plants in the greenhouse, such good value as the tie can be expanded as the plant grows and there is no waste. Very pleased with the product indeed as usual because I've used this before and will continue to do so. However, the last time I bought some of this it was available in rolls of 30 feet in length, which unfortunately doesn't seem to be available any more, shame.
However, this doesn't alter the fact that this product is very good in itself.
