How to Hang a Frameless Mirror

Frameless mirrors are a common addition to many bathrooms and add a sleek, contemporary look to any room. But to hang a frameless mirror flush against the wall, you'll need to take a slightly different approach.

Read on to learn how to hang a frameless mirror with ease with FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape  (and yes, this method works for heavy mirrors too!)

How to Hang a Frameless Mirror Without Nails

Make sure the wall is clean and dry

First things first, wipe the wall and the back of the mirror with a damp (but not wet) cloth to remove any dust or dirt that will make the mounting tape less effective.

Take a pack of FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape

Next, take a pack of mounting tape and cut it to size. FIX-PRO® Extreme Mounting Tape  can hold up to 1.55 pounds per square inch so it's important to weigh your mirror and calculate how much tape you need.

To make your frame as secure as possible, we'd recommend putting one long strip of tape along each edge of the mirror.

Stick the tape to the back of the mirror

Next, stick the mounting tape to the back of the mirror, press it down firmly and remove the backing plastic.

Hang your frameless mirror on the wall

Now you're ready to hang your mirror on the wall! Press it firmly against the wall (long enough for the mounting tape adhesive to bond securely with it) and step back to admire your handiwork!)

And there you have it! A frameless mirror hung securely on the wall without one single nail or screw! Let us know if you have a go at this yourself and stay on our blog for more time-saving DIY tutorials!
